CONGRATULATIONS to the Liberal Party on announcing it will increase police numbers.
It is also pleasing to see that the Police Association has distanced itself from the Labor-Greens government.
We
need a government that is prepared to do what is necessary to
reinstall the perception that the police ARE the authority and must
not be touched.
Perception, as opposed to reality, because neither, a government, nor a police force is an authority unless you desire it to be.
If a member of the public
strikes or spits on a police officer they should be dealt with
severely, thereby sending the message that the police are sacrosanct.
Without a strong police deterrent, the drunken rabble will take control.
Notice the employment of fear as a weapon to justify government, judicial & police violence?
