Lance, the valiant Occupy Sydney member who was arrested by Queensland Police yesterday, has had his bail refused by an unnamed Beenleigh Magistrate.
The matter will be picked up in the Brisbane District court tomorrow.
Laughably, the charges relate to a claim of failing to appear at a court in 1990.
This is a time honoured tactic used to try and intimidate political activists.
Many supporters were present in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today to offer support and will be needed again tomorrow in Brisbane.
A support group has been set up on Facebook under the heading "Release Occupy Sydney".
